Ever since I heard of Linux I always wondered what it would be like on it? Is it going to be better than windows?
Well today I ordered linux mandrake(mandriva) and will try it out on a seperate HDD. If its worth it I will keep it and put windows as secondary boot.

I was able to convince Johnny to try it out.
Well there was also the question: Can I still use my windows app on Linux?
Well there is wine which is an addon for linux that lets you run most windows app on Linux.

One good thing about this conversion is that I will still be able to use my Firefox
