This year I hope that the new hiscore server will be up and running. This year will be a year of change for the Runescape community. We will strive to give you the best of us. We will hopefully change the way you play Runescape as bo3oof and I are spending an hour or 2 everyday to go other features to implement to our system.

What is he doing?

Well Bo3oof will be managing the external data manipulation of the hiscore, meaning he deals with taking information from your forum, site, board,etc to implement it to the system. He will also be in charge of the external template system. No he is not doing all of that alone, I will be helping him from time to time while i code the main part.

What am I doing?

As you may know me I have been coding these nice complex codes like http://signature.icefuzion.net, etc… Well this time we are going 1 step furthur, the hiscore server that you see now will not be a component of IPB, but as we still need to have a good member manager I am going to implement some functions from ipb into the new hiscore system. I think i may have lost a few of you by now so ill continue briefly. Well on the new system you will be able to manage users better than before, you can customize most things displayed on the hiscore, groups will be implemented for external users now, a better update I promise , ranks will be fixed, some major updates will be manual, you can have more than 1 user managing the system( there will be 2 groups Root admin, Admin; root admin has more privileges than admin; admin can only interfere with adding users and deleting them), logs will be kept, summary will be kept, a better clan management, a better hiscore customization and more features that you will like.

Well after the sql server stalling I have decided to revamp the signature system.
What’s new?
there will be hopefully a page where the use can 1 click update his/her sigs
he or she can update important global fields like quotes, combat, etc…

I will be giving gamersicon a folder where he can work on a secret service we are going to be developing.

Hiscore system
I have developed a script that grabs all users off an invisionfree board(ipb 1.3) and it is going to be added in the next few months.
Users will be able to choose from groups to include to the hiscore.
As this job is very extensive it will not be automated by our system but you will need to update it manually.

I am also adding a few more features to the system but they will be live when i finish creating the content of IFZ.
Once i develop the core bit of the content system i got a few people who are willing to work on new addons on it.

And also please do not request help from me atm as i am very busy and I rather spend it on myself rather than me worrying about your problems

Come on people i let you use the hiscore intergration to get some feedback and I didn’t get much except from the people who purchased it.
Well if I don’t get any feedback I might stop hiscore demo for general public

This coming year we will have some changes, I will be working on a content system, which will be a break through in how you create articles.
This will expand from guides to newspaper. and output format from rss to pdf.
Presentation will be in all possible formats as possible.
Information will be relevant and you will be able to even edit the article and when submitted the moderating team or bot will validate the work to be displayed.

We are working both on web and stand alone apps for you to use at no cost.
We will make it really relevant

And it must work with both ie and FF

very weird week, server went down because of over use on signatures or something like that, all i know that it was down for 18 hours.
I got it back up when i switched signatures off.

I am thinking of fixing up the signatures just a lil bit.
Meaning redo the whole process pages etc…
