Posted by B.Ramburn in Today I have done aroun 60% of the admin side and around 5% customer side.
I was able to accomplish a lot of tedious and long repeating work with the help of macros, smarty and a lot of tools to help me do the job in half the time.
I also made a cool admincp to manage products I am listing and other related things. Tomorrow I’ll be pretty much done with it and I will need to go find my paypal sandbox login and my ipn. I may also try google checkout, and see if i can use it.
I am hoping by tuesday to have a working version of a checkout system with paypal + google checkout ready. And maybe do the interface up for the gallery, at first I am hoping to get it to just upload, add description, comment, Add/edit/delete/moderate, and I will try to get script.aculous working with ipb.
A bit more about the gallery; well I got this friend of mine who wants to purchase a gallery so I am going to make a simple gallery at first with a few limited features, the one thing that I am unsure is if I want to sell it or give it away for free, so that i can have a good reason to at least continue upgrading it with features every now and then.
I hope i get things done in time
