Posted by B.Ramburn in This tutorial is going to show you how to import the runescape news to your board automatically without you going to runescape and copy + pasting it to your site with quotation marks.
First you need to check that you have admincp access to the board you are going to install it on.
Next go to the go to ACP Home> management > RSS Import Manager> Create New
And fill the form with the following information *Please ignore the brackets ():
RSS Import Stream Title: (Whatever you want) Runescape News
RSS Import Stream URL: http://icefuzion.net/rss/runescapenewsfeed.xml
RSS Import Stream Character Set: UTF-8 (In Uppercase)
RSS Import Enabled: Yes
Does this stream require .htaccess Authentication?uncheck
RSS Import Into Forum: (which ever forum you want)
RSS Import Preserve HTML: no
RSS Import Poster’s Name: (The account you want to post the news)
RSS Import Increment Poster’s Post Count: (optional)
RSS Import Add Link To Post: Read More
RSS Import Topic Open: yes
RSS Import Topic Hidden: No
RSS Import Topic Prefix: (optional)
RSS Import Per Go:10
RSS Import Refresh: 150

The Article seems good, and works when you try validating to setup an RSS feed in IPB 2.3.6, although, there’s no news displayed in the RSS feed, so why the hell would anyone want to use this feed tutorial?
