Script conversion from IPB 2.1.7 to 2.2 [hiscore]

Recently I have been working on the conversion of the hiscore script to work on a 2.2 version until i get things sorted out. From the looks of it and time spent, i must say that it is was harder at first but now it seems quite easy to work with, especially if you have good tools to help you find your way around the source code.

At the moment I am working on the application feature that I added in 2.1.x series. If I am unable to get it up and running I will drop it until hiscore 3.x comes out. But i have got up most of the basic hiscore up and running but you can’t manage it at all as the admincp is having issues.

One of the biggest issues is the php5 and mysqli in the source code it is pretty annoying to have to convert everything to a suitable format, but we have to do it to make it work.

i’ll post on later for any updates.

meh… hiscore will not be ready soon

The new hiscore which was expected within the weekend may be released late as I think I have to rewrite a whole lot of the code, and I was thinking of adding a lot of new features so.. i am going to start reworking on it. Hopefully if i work fast enough i can get it up and running for 2morrow or maybe a few more days.

Ok i will try to re-convert it by going through eachfile editing parts of the code, but I am still thinking of remaking the structure of the code so that it isn’t messy. This means that I will continue converting it to ipb 2.2 so just be patient
