Hi,
I think I'm experiencing the same problem that Andi described.

In css_2.css, under the class #logographic, I changed the background from the default ("logo4.gif") to a graphic I had created.

However, when I viewed the page, the original logo4.gif was still showing. It appears that the html code places the image there.

How do I get my custom banner image to show (only on this skin, of course, not all the other skins)?

you have to change the settings to cache the css onto file and then edit. You have to select the appropriate template you are editing.
The question you asked me is a bit rough. If you could provide me some example I could help you out there. You might have missed out a step or something.

If you are still unclear about the css I could re-write that section to make it more understandable.

thanks for the feedback

This is an excellent tutorial but it would be great if you continued it as promised. The section about changing this .css is confusing though as im not sure whether i should be changing the css through the Admin or download the stylesheet and changing it manually. Weirdly neither method is working for me. When i change the logostrip css to point to a different image the image still doesnt show while i can see the changes are there in the css.
