Minerva SEO 0.0.3 pre-release info

After I just announced a 48 hour test period I found a couple of bugs. And they are mostly due to php5 -> php4 compability.

So I will need to repack the system for a further test but not to worry I will do my best to include the following bug fix into the package:

  • Task importer not working
  • gzip sitemap not working
  • fix meta clash with ipb 2.3.x

Then I will do a further test on all my installs to see if it works then i’ll release it. Hopefully it will run on ipb 2.3.x so for those who have it there is nothing to worry about.

Minerva SEO V 0.0.3 to be released within 48 hours

Hi all,

I have finished writing up MSEO v0.0.3 I just need to finalise the source, check and re-check the system on different installs. I am hoping that I will release it so that it also works on ipb 2.3.x as it is still on ipb 2.2.x.

LAMPP XAMPP nightmare this weekend

My weekend has been wasted trying to fix all of my MYSQL setups for both linux and windows. I don’t know for what reason they both crashed with different reasons.

When I fixed the mysql on linux the mysql on windows decided to give up too. Well the windows one didn’t bother to output any error as it didn’t want to start up at all. It crashed everytime I try to query anything.

Well atm I am updating my main XAMPP install on windows in the hope that it will work. To upgrade my xampp I backed up both php.ini and httpd.conf as they are the two files that I know I messed with.

Hopefully the new versions of the file will fix everything as I really want to get a minerva package up and running asap.

Class_communication.php what a nice find on IPS_kernel

Today while working on Minerva SEO. I found this really cool class which easily helps me query pages with POST data and GET queries (that’s if I insert them in the url)
