The price tag has been placed on Invision Powers Services’ Content managem system, AKA CCS.

From sources it is to be priced at $35 on its release and will have a $30 support renewal fee. At $35 for a initial and introductory price its a bargain! for what it can do!
To find out more what this is, you can look at the blog entry from IPS.

More details on the pricing can be found on this blog entry on the IPS blog.

Invision Power Board 3 released

IPS has now released IPB 3,  you can download it in your client area on IPS’s new website!

As with all releases it would be recommended that you do test installation on a demo board that is setup seperately from your main/live forum.

BTW if you haven’t checked it out IPS have updated their main site, which looks AWESOME! thanks to @Rikkitisser

All features of the new IPB 3 can be found here.

Invision Power Service announcing a CMS?

It seems the folks at IPS suprised us again with a new product called CSS aka Community Content System.
The announcement can be found here: http://forums.invisionpower.com/topic/285632-introducing-community-content-system

The features are pretty interesting with a complete CMS system, but not much has been revealed, we will just have to wait for more information about the product.

What I fear from IPS  is that they will pull another ip.nexus trick and not release it, even IPB 3.0 is being delayed. What I noticed on IPB 3.0 is that there are loads more to be done to the code, there is missing features and useless bits and bobs around the code that goes to dead ends.
