For the past few weeks I have been able to completely re-write MSEO from scratch ontop of MinervaSEO lite.
I have decided in the end to re-implement the FURL system. But this time the FURL is not too strict and will allow .html&hl=…… additional queries.
This should in short term help in the FURL for IPB 2.x.x

I will be trying to get a complete and fully tested release in 2-3 weeks. But by the end of this week I should be getting some sort of daily script release on http://minervaseo.com for people to see and test it.

One feature that will not make it on MSL is the sitemap, I have decided to remove it completely and put it as a separate module for people to use. Read the rest of this entry »

Following some recent news on IPB’s website I have decided that I may stop MinervaSEO as there is no point to compete against an already packed SEO system for IPB which works much better than Mseo.

What I am going to do is develop and separate the tag tool and maybe the meta editor. This may take a while, maybe a few weeks.

I will also try to create a conversion tool so that you don’t lose your URL’s page rank.

Sorry I have been inactive lately but there have been dealing with things that screwed my life over. I have lost my job, I am having problems with Home Office regarding my Visa, my mum is sick, my dad is depressed, I lost the only and good relationship I ever had and all because of the problem with my Visa and my solicitor.

According to some new solicitors it wasn’t suppose to be like that, I was suppose to get my citizenship in the UK but because the form was filled in a certain way and the solicitor that dealt with the appeal didn’t do well, my life has changed dramatically to the worst. I’m just barely hanging there.

I am sorry if I wasn’t able to do much since last year but I have been trying to deal with this and a lot with my life since April last year. My site is pretty much inactive and I have been blogging my anger and feelings on a free WP site. But I think I’ll merge it to this one in time and carry on posting here.

First of all sorry for not releasing anything my life has been upside down for the past 2-3 months. I have been to court on personal issues that I cannot share at the moment.

But I will post it once I get a reply on the 10th of September.

Anyways since I had some time this weekend I have started to work on a MinervaSeo Lite for the time being until I fix Mseo as there are a lot of changes that is required on the core when I was working on it 3-4 weeks ago.

This new version will not hold the FURL system yet but will have the other features to it such as meta data, sitemaps, etc…

I have also taken the liberty of removing the tag system and release it on its own.

I will post more on it soon. I might get something done within a few weeks. Please note this is for the people who cannot get Mseo to work in the first place. If Mseo already works and you  have used the FURL please do not use the lite until I get the HTML element" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML_element">link grid system I was talking about up and running.

it seems it is taking me a lot more time to get all url to FURL as there is just too many variables in the url and it is getting a whole lot more complicated.

What I propose is that I will be working on non-furl improvement for the next few versions to fix all non-dupe and improve page quality and relevance and then I will work on the furl version.

I have being receing a lot of emails and queries on the tracksheets regarding the sitemap not being in the task folder anymore.

Basically all the sitemap are generated on the fly, it does not need a task or anything else. What needs to be done is to poing google sitemap to http://forums.yourforum.co.uk/sitemapx.xml which is the sitemapindex and to go to the sitemaps itself it will be http://forums.yourforum.co.uk/sitemapx.xml?in=1.

You can disable the nice skin format or the way it displays the url in the admincp.

BTW I haven’t had time to reply on icelabz, I just read them once a while. I have been trying to fix some bugs and improving the features a tad bit over the past 2-3 weeks. Its a slow process as I only have 1 hour on the odd days to look at the code.

I cannot promise anything but I will try to release another bug fix version soon and aim for a gold  version once all url are furled

The new MSEO 1.0.0 will allow you to fully customise.
