TORC, or otherwise known as The Official RuneHQ Clan, has fallen, as of today. The RHQ Staff, mass-banned most of the clan, or the part of the clan that was active. The start of this argument was a misunderstanding, which followed in a cataclysmic turn of events which we have now.
I'll show everyone some chat logs, between the RHQ Staff and the TORC Staff. They are all censored.

How is it being uploaded to RuneHQ and then using that URL to advertise NOT using RuneHQ to advertise? And who gave you permission to ask a Site Editor to upload php files to the website?

I'm pretty sure it was in a private staff folder; I figured it would be much like an image. We are allowed to upload pretty much any image to RuneHQ as long as it is a suitable filesize. php is not harmful.

I would say that Mamyles1 was being extremely reasonable, patient, and understanding. I am shocked and appalled at how juvenile the owners of RuneHQ are...

And to top it off...
The next time this happens, we will shut TORC off.
I don't appreciate the leaders of this clan thinking it's ok for someone to do this and that they shouldn't be banned. Get real!

Heh, so true, for adults they are so immature, we question one of their actions, they demodded a member of staff on RHQ so they banned them on torc, we didnt think he should be banned so we unbanned him.
Next thing we know Mr.Stormy and Weezy are in our chat going power crazy banning staff left right and center, myself included, swearing and yelling, granted we Glined them from our chat server but still, how imature...

wel... torc hasnt exactly fallen, but it will, there is still a RuneHQ Clan but one of the leaders, over 90% of the staff, all the council and a good chunk of the members have been banned... the other two leaders arnt active enough to maintain the forums, and one member of staff isnt enough XD they will fall, its just a matter of time.

They've removed all but about 3 staff and given a player who was removed from council for being unactive a leader position =\
They're trying to stop TORC members from knowing whats happened and it looks like they're banning anyone trying to find out.
TORC will probably survive but the Runehq Admins have definately not done it any favours.
It's a shame it had to end like this.

Jagex don't ban people for questioning this descisions. 
There used to be 5 council and 20ish staff.
Now there is no council and 7 staff.

I'm 14
and I lead a clan and having not much problem with it (not a huge clan, bet we arnt doing too bad). In this case i think the adults are being immature and thinking they run this game that was designed for slightly younger people, and now because they think that, the clan is going to break up. Nice 1 rhq staff

Once I accidentaly posted in the wrong forum (can't tell the forums apart anyways, too vague and disorganized) and they said if I do it again i'll get banned. Saddam could do better at being leader than them

I was council in Torc... I have to say it was fun while it lasted...
We had a huge influx on members but the heads hanging over us were... anoying...
so what happened? 1 person posted a link... they baned him... 2 more people went to his defence... they baned them... I said... "Hay if your baning them ban me!?" so he tried to ban me from our chat room (Im4eversmart <-- former leader of a good clan) but to bad i was a server op... I promptly Glined him from the server and the whole clan in our chat room went crazy.
BTW sorry ian if you read this... but... you deserved it. You know torc is going to die... without all of us? lol
So the lesson learned... If your clan is run by idiots... dont stand up and be loyal to your fellow staff / council / leaders... its a bad thing
LONG live whatever we name our new clan!

I'm really excited. I requested to be banned because I'm sick of their crap. They scared me into being fairly submissive for 3 months... Finally got over it and when they thought they could just ban my friends... pfft... Things aren't going to be pretty. We took a chunk of the active members and the majority of staff (and the best we had!).
The new clan has been open for less than a day. We have 125+ members and over 1300 posts. =) I think we're going to do very well.
I don't like how things are now. I think some things they put up are there to spite me...
A while ago I requested money to help us get our own IRC server. They wouldn't even respond to me. Now they are getting one. It was fun seeing them G:lined from the server we use. =D
125/maybe 500 active. That's a lot. =)
They banned everyone who registered with us - if you joined us just out of curiousity... ban.
I did something like that once.. I got into a lot of trouble for being immature. Look who's being immature now? Afraid of the competition?

DO NOT believe these lies! TORC has NOT fallen. We lost a lot of staff yes, but only because they were immature little idiots that did not think we had the right to remove a staff member from the clan that WE OWN.
Mamyles viotaed tons of rules and endangered the site by getting someone to upload php scripts for him that he was not authorized to do. This was a major security violation not to mention he was already in hot water for other staff discipline.
This is my post concerning what happened. I also can post all the chat logs of these people threatening to put mamyles back on staff against our wishes and them calling us all kids of rude names because we removed him.
Mamyles was not immeadiately banned because of this, he was removed from staff on both RuneHQ and TORC. What he did was a serious Rules Violation. He was advertising his site, he uploaded and unauthorized script without my knowledge. He also bypassed the No posting of Non RuneHQ/TORC links rule by using this unathorized script.
He advertised his site on both RuneHQ and TORC chat rooms by using this script.
I am sorry but I cannot and will not allow staff to upload PHP files to our servers without my knowledge, even if it was only 4 lines of code to redirect people to his site. It is the fact that he uploaded a PHP script to our site without my permission. This is a MAJOR security risk and that was why we took the actions we did.
He was only going to be warned and temp demodded but when Weezyrowe talked to him his attitude was he did nothing wrong. Based on the above conversation and his past staff disciplines and history she decided to permanently remove him due to security concerns.
A lot of the staff here had an issue with this, he told them he was removed from staff, breaking yet another rule by discussing staff issues with non RuneHQ staff. Several of the staff were very disrespectful of our actions and called us all kinds of names.
Mamyles also suggested making a new mask or altering the New Members Mask with staff permissions for him to allow him to be staff here and hide that fact. He told this to some of the other staff who were complaining and that were going to put him back on staff against our wishes. Anothe Major security problem from him and the disrespectful staff that have been banned.
Based on Chat Transcripts obtained from a few loyal people and what was said, we decided we needed to ban the people we did, including Mamyles.
If you wish to speak to them, that is fine, just understand our side of the story BEFORE you believe the lies they are spreading.
We will not tolerate disrespect, especially from Staff. Also Mamyles actions were very serious and his behavior after he was removed from staff were even worse.
I was banned from the TORC chat server and all I did was go into the chat room to talk to people and find out what was going on to try to resolve the issues. The people that were banned were to immature to even try to understand our side and the need to protect the site from malicious acts like the ones Mamyles had taken.
RuneHQ owns TORC, we will not tolerate the kind of behavior that happened yesterday over our decision to remove a security threat from this staff. If you all cannot understand this then you need to follow the rest of the Banned members to their new clan.

Gene, that wasn't the TORC IRC server - that belonged to my website. It had nothing to do with TORC. Things could have been different if you bothered to listen to my requests earlier on - but you left me to fend for myself in search of a server for the clan to use. I requested one for my personal site. It now belongs to the clan I've created.

The only fact it got anywhere was because of the RuneHQ attached. And just because your famous or what not, does not mean you can lead a group of people. This has happened to 90% of clans. Plus the leader wasnt any good. Jen, aka Corruptmoral, pre-Runehq Days, was leader of Emerald Dragons. They allied with my clan, then she messaged all of our members saying how we were going to die, and to join Emerald Dragons because they are going strong. She ditched that clan 2 months later and tried to start up the runehq clan.
